Bill Clinton served his country well

He brought prosperity and an economic surpluss

Though dealing with a Republican majority he moved away from his plans for healthcare reform but still found middle ground to make sure that not all of his initiatives were thwarted.

Americans were able to vote for the candidates that they felt were right for the job.

He did something that we all know that most politicians do, CHEAT and lied to us about it, but it was still personal.

And the Republicans tried to have him impeached but ended up with a censure.

George W. Bush has lied to us time and time again.

We’ve gone to war over oil under the blanket of lies of weapons of mass destruction and that we are there to help the persecuted while many other parts of the world have people tortured and persecuted by their governments yet we do nothing about that.

Our economy is in shambles due to a massive deregulation campaign by the Republican majority.

We are trillions of dollars in debt; the deficit marquee in Times Square in New York City has been removed because it’s not large enough.

They have done what ever want without thought of keeping the Democrats in mind

Now this country is more divided than ever and even his party is on the verge of its own division.

If Republicans had the audacity to try and have President Clinton impeached for lying to us about his personal affairs then Democrats should rise up and do the same to President W. Bush, at the very least he too should be censured.  President W. Bush has endangered his citizens, his soldiers, and the future of our beloved country.

President Bill Clinton served his country well, he ushered us into the new millennia with economic growth and a national surplus.  Though he had to move away from much of his platform, such as healthcare reform, because of a Republican majority in the House and Senate he still found a middle ground with them so as to make sure that not all of his initiatives were thwarted.  However, he will mainly be remembered for his infidelity in his marriage and then lying to the American public about it.  Because of this Republicans tried to have him impeached, though they failed he still winded up being censured which will forever be a blemish on his great presidency in the history books.

President George W.  Bush has lied to us time and time again; whether it ‘s going to war over oil and telling us it’s because we have found weapons of mass destruction and to also protect the citizens of a ruthless dictator; or that our “surges”, to finally defeat the enemy, are working when we are actually nowhere near the end.  This war has depleted our national surplus and our country is now trillions of dollars in debt. The deficit is so bad that the National Debt Clock in Times Square has had to be removed because there aren’t enough zeros; this is money that could have gone into fixing many our domestic issues and or disasters.

There are other issues such as a steady hiring of incompetent individuals to run many of our government agencies and even worse, Cabinet Positions and other High Government Offices just to pay off favors and or keep his old drinking buddies near him.  Who knows how many lives could have been saved in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina if he would have appointed someone to F.E.M.A. whose background was in disaster relief management.  President Bush and his Republican majority ran amuck deregulating many of the laws that were put in place to protect commerce and its consumers.  During his watch we have seen everything from high gas prices to the lowest our economy has been since the Great Depression.

This country is more divided than ever and even his political party is on the verge of its own division.   If Republicans had the audacity to try and have President Clinton impeached for lying to us about his personal affairs then Democrats should rise up and do the same to President Bush, at the very least he too should be censured.  President W. Bush has endangered his citizens, his soldiers, and the future of our beloved country.
